You may have been enjoying the Mental Game Series throughout last year, where Advanced PGA Professional Nicola Stroud has taken us through methods to work on certain aspects of our game from dealing with the yips, to the importance of mental rehearsal and how to prevent those dreaded three putts.

Now Nicola is offering Women & Golf members the opportunity to learn mental game techniques from her personally in this intimate Mental Game break this Spring in Somerset.

Mental Game break May 20-21, 2023

Saturday 20th May

12 pm arrive – light lunch 
1 pm – mental strengthening coaching
3 pm – play 9 holes Channel course with your Coach working on all learned so far and more!
7 pm – Two course dinner with after dinner talk from mental golf coach

Sunday 21st May

9 am – mental strengthening – consolidation
11 am – play 18 holes on Championship course
4 pm – home

Cost: £399 per person (based on 2 sharing twin room, £50 supplement for single occupancy). Limited to a maximum of 12 people.

About Nicola Stroud

Nicola comes with an abundance of experience, having secured a place in the first European PGA University course, pioneered by the PGA of Europe. She was the first female in Europe to graduate and qualify as a PGA Professional from the course in 1994; going on to become the PGA’s youngest female Head Professional at the age of 24.

Now devoting her time to coaching, she is an accredited Golf Psychology Coach, Golf Union of Wales accredited coach and former England and Wales County coach, sport UK disability coach and Golf Union of Wales ambassador.

Nicola is a former Welsh International player at junior and senior level, county golfer and has played in a few WPGA events, most notably qualifying for the Ladies British Open.

Nicola’s style of coaching involves uncomplicated language and easy to practice techniques; and incorporating the mental approach to your golf game. She believes in coaching the whole game from tee to green.

About the Dormy House

The Dormy House, a detached property situated within the grounds of Burnham & Berrow Golf Club, just seconds from the first tee.

The house sleeps up to 12 people in 6 twin rooms. Includes free WI-FI, tea and coffee making facilities and Smart TV in all rooms. Five of the rooms are en-suite and the sixth has an adjacent bathroom.
