Titleist is set to release a new line of Scotty Cameron Phantom Black putters—four limited-edition models that adapt tour-level designs for everyday players. The putters offer features that may appeal to female golfers who prioritize alignment, feel, and a clean, glare-free look.
What’s in the Lineup
The Phantom Black collection includes four mallets:
- Phantom Black 5.5 – A compact mid-mallet with a wing-back shape and short slant neck. Also available in a limited left-handed run.
- Phantom Black 7 – A high-MOI mallet with a double-bend shaft that provides visual clarity similar to a traditional plumber’s neck.
- Phantom Black 9.2R – A new model featuring rounded edges and a custom neck placement to enhance face awareness.
- Phantom Black 11 – A stable, face-balanced mallet with parallel alignment lines and a mid-bend shaft for a straightforward setup.
Each model features a matte black finish and Scotty Cameron’s “chain-link” face milling, designed to reduce glare, soften sound, and improve feel—elements many women golfers find helpful, especially in pressure situations on the green.
Materials and Build
The heads are made from 303 stainless steel with aircraft-grade aluminium components. The black finish comes from a PVD treatment that helps reduce distractions at address. All models include adjustable heel-toe sole weights and are offered in 33″, 34″, and 35″ lengths.
Each putter also comes with a Matador grip, a headcover, and a shaft band—details that reinforce the limited-edition nature of the collection.

Pricing and Availability
The Phantom Black putters will be available at select Titleist stockists starting July 25. They are priced at £729 / €875 and offered in limited quantities.
