Get Golfing is proud to announce the launch of six Junior Pro-Am events this August. They are looking to get as many juniors as possible to play in these events, which are running through the summer holidays. Plus they are all FREE to enter.
These Junior Pro-Ams will run across six of the Get Golfing clubs starting at the stunning Mill Green Golf Club on Thursday, August 11 and finish on Tuesday, August 30 at Warley Park Golf Club.
Each event will have goodie bags and prizes for the juniors, along with a prize purse for the professional golfers of £3,500 per event.
This is an integral part of Get Golfing’s initiative to encourage more juniors to take up the game of golf. Every Get Golfing venue offers FREE junior membership.
What to expect at the Junior Pro-Ams
The events are open to girls, boys or mixed teams, with the chance to play with a professional golfer.
- Pro & Team Entry Fee: FREE!
- Each team of three juniors (U18) will be joined by a PGA Professional Golfer.
- The entry fee includes: Breakfast on arrival, Goodie bag, 18 holes of golf, followed by food and prizes for the top three teams, Nearest the Pin and Straightest Drive.
- No handicap is required, however, the maximum handicap is 54 (Team Professional will allocate handicaps)
- PRIZE POT: each event will have prize money for the professional golfers of £3,500 per event (1st = £1,250)
