By focusing on providing a space for all to feel comfortable, the academy introduces people to the game and provides a pathway for them to progress into full membership.
Through free taster sessions, Hendon Golf Club has been able to successfully integrate a growing number of women within the club, moving them from the academy to club membership.
And at the helm of the efforts to get more women and girls into golf stand the Captain, Linda Wray, and the Women’s Captain, Sally-Anne Penn. With support from the Chairman, the rest of the club, and funding from Middlesex Golf, they continue to drive inclusive change at their club.
