Celebrating clubs, coaches, and innovators shaping the future of golf in Scotland.

The Scottish Golf Awards 2026 has announced its finalists across eight categories ahead of the ceremony in Glasgow on 27 March. This annual event recognises individuals and clubs driving growth and positive change in Scottish golf.

Leading Clubs and Community Champions

Harburn Golf Club, Kings Golf Club, and Peebles Golf Club are in the running for Club of the Year. Each has been highlighted for expanding their membership and engaging with their local communities.

The Golf in the Community Award spotlights inclusive and family-friendly programmes, with finalists including Golf It! Glasgow, North Lanarkshire Council, and Strathlene Golf Club.

Pioneering Participation and Coaching

The Rising Star Award recognises those increasing access to golf. Among the finalists are:

Coach of the Year nominees include Linzi Dye, for introducing women to the game at West Kilbride; Alastair Forsyth, who works with players of all backgrounds; and Tiffany MacKenzie, who encourages more women to take up golf in Elgin.

Recognising Sustainability and Enterprise

The awards also honour environmental and business initiatives. Balfron Golf Club, Dullatur Golf Club, and St Andrews Links are cited for their sustainability projects. In business development, Balfron Golf Club, Mearns Castle, and Mortonhall Golf Club have each found ways to boost income and support club growth.

Celebrating Outstanding Achievements

Individual honours will also be presented, including the Professional Performance of the Year (by public vote) and the Lifetime Honour Award. Notable mentions include:

Carly McDonald, the 14 years old winere of the Scottish Girls OM is in the running for the amateur golfer of the year award
