Central Vietnam’s standout courses invite travellers to explore lush landscapes, coastal breezes, and local culture

Golfers heading to Vietnam this summer will find more than just world-class courses. Along the Vietnam Golf Coast, clubs are pairing memorable rounds with striking scenery, cultural touches, and a host of seasonal offers designed to make a golf holiday here even more rewarding.

From golden rice fields to cool highlands and breezy seaside layouts, three standout courses—Laguna Golf Lang Co, Ba Na Hills Golf Club, and Montgomerie Links—are offering new ways to experience Central Vietnam at its most vibrant.

Golden Fields and Spa Breaks at Laguna Golf Lang Co

Nestled between mountains and the sea, Laguna Golf Lang Co is framed by golden rice paddies that reach their peak in May and June—making it one of the most photogenic times to visit.

“This is one of the most enchanting times to play,” says Stephen Banks, Director of Golf, noting the strong connection between the course and Vietnam’s rural traditions.

The club’s seasonal promotions include:

Mountain Calm and Cool Twilights at Ba Na Hills

Set in the pine-covered highlands just outside Da Nang, Ba Na Hills Golf Club offers a cooler, quieter escape—particularly welcome during the summer months.

“Every time I walk this course, I’m reminded why golf in the mountains feels different—calmer, clearer, and more connected,” says General Manager Simon Mees.

Seaside Style and Vietnamese Flavors at Montgomerie Links

Montgomerie Links brings a more traditional links feel, but with a distinctly Vietnamese flair. Set along the coast with views of the Marble Mountains and local fishing boats, the course blends rolling fairways with casuarina pines and sea breezes.

“Montgomerie Links captures the spirit of true links golf, but with a distinct Vietnamese character,” says Club Manager Le Vo Hoang Van.

This summer’s Stay & Play package starts at just VND4,770,000 (approx. USD185) and is available through September 30, 2025.

Golf Meets Culture Across the Region

At all three clubs, the experience goes beyond the course. Caddies in traditional non la conical hats add local flair to every round, while clubhouses serve up Vietnamese favorites like ca phe sua da, banh mi, and pho.

The region also invites exploration. Laguna Golf Lang Co is close to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital, while Ba Na Hills and Montgomerie Links sit within reach of Da Nang’s beaches, nightlife, and fireworks festival. Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its lantern-lit streets and ancient architecture, is a must-visit nearby.

With summer deals in full swing, now is an ideal time to discover why the Vietnam Golf Coast continues to rise as one of Asia’s top golf destinations.
